Zac open your eyes! You have five beautiful women standing behind you.
Gymnastics and body control are a big part of the CrossFit programing. We all need work on our handstands and here is a perfect opportunity.
Check out this video of the handstand and some of its variations.
Just had a meeting with Scott Mackenzie who owns Bare Natural Foods and he brought by some samples of their new food. They have just contracted a great new chef and the food is insane. They will be offering Breakfast, Lunch, snack, and dinner options five days a week starting on August 3rd. I am strongly encourage you to check them out. The food I had was as good as any restaurant and whats better is its all Paleo and with mostly organic ingredients. Check out their site asap and get in an order.
Also please wish Jen a late Happy Birthday. It was yesterday. Were sorry we forgot, shame on us
We made it up with a WOD for ya Ms. Muir! Enjoy! If you havent checked out her blog do it now. Become a follower as she is going through all of the things that most of you are right now.

Im excited! I’ve never done a handstand pushup. As a matter of fact I don’t think Ive done a regular handstand since high school. This could be bad…..:-)
“could be bad?” The fact is, 15 hand stand push-ups are a challenge let alone 81!!!
Bring it!
Oh.. ZAC, you look miserable with that grin on your face… LOL
Despite the fact that my legs are shot from “Karen” on Monday and our squat rampage yesterday… Lunges… Tight a$$ here I come!!!!
I am currently making a list of all of the CF exercises that I cannot complete in order to know when to focus my efforts, especially during the warm-up time. This will help me to check items off of this list as I am able to complete them.
For me my list looks something like:
1. Pull-ups (without a band)
2. Ring Dips (Okay, I can do like 1, but that doesn’t really count)
3. Double Unders (my new Buddy Lee jump rope should help with this one)
4. Muscle-ups
All that said, I have lots of work to do and look forward to continuing to improve.
See y’all tonight!!!
What a great work out to end my week. I am going on vacation tomorrow through Monday or Tuesday and the Jen looks like an awesome challenge! Mel Mel, love the list and share 2, 3 & 4 with ya. Stupid double unders, grrr, must master them!!!
Lookin forward to this one.
